Community Education

By offering community education, we hope that more people will feel comfortable discussing end-of-life care planning to ensure their wishes are known.

Hospice Georgina would like to provide the community with timely and accurate information about end-of-life care issues including awareness of hospice services, information on palliative care, caregiving, grief and bereavement, Advance Care Planning, and Community Resources.

We offer information to support discussions about Quality of Life, Supportive programming, effective pain management, access to grief and bereavement support and a respect for each person's autonomy and dignity.

We have links to some helpful articles. We can arrange for a speaker for your group and have Pamphlets on Hospice Georgina services available in our office or can be mailed. Visit our website often for updated information, workshops and support services.
