We provide a wide range of information regarding resources and services including other community-based services.

Lending Library
At Hospice Georgina’s office, we have an extensive collection of books, videos and reference materials on a wide range of subjects: family hospice care, caregiver support, pain and symptom management, complementary therapy, relaxation, spirituality, grief, bereavement, and assisting children/youth in coping with loss. These resources are available to community members to borrow as needed.

Education & Training Services

Hospice Georgina provides ongoing training and education to volunteers by organizing in-house events and providing educational opportunities in the community. Our staff and

trained volunteers are available to come to speak with groups, school classes, faith communities, or other organizations to provide information and increase public awareness of hospice palliative care, death, dying, grief, and bereavement.

Information & Support

Our staff work in consultation with clients to ensure the highest quality of hospice palliative care and bereavement services.  The Coordinators provide information, referrals, and advocacy to assist individuals living with long-term illness to live at home for as long as they may choose or to cope well with their loss.
