Hospice Georgina supports people living in Georgina and Georgina Island who are coping with a life-limiting illness or experiencing the loss of a loved one.
Hospice helps people live each day of their lives to the fullest extent possible. Our concern is for the person, not the disease. We focus on family and friends, not just the individual, and emphasize the quality of life more than the duration.
With hospice services, clients and loved ones regain a sense of control over their lives with support for their emotional and social needs. Hospice care also extends to family members and friends by helping them care for their loved one and to care for themselves during a time of grief.
